Sarah Haider is a Pakistani-American political activist and speaker. In 2013, along with Muhammed Syed, she founded the Ex-Muslims of North American (EMNA), an organization and online community which advocates for the acceptance of religious dissent, promotes secular values, and aims to reduce discrimination faced by those who leave Islam. Sarah is currently the Executive Director of EXMNA. In 2015, Sarah gave a speech called "Islam and the Necessity of Liberal Critique" at the American Humanist Association's 74th annual conference in Denver, Colorado, that has been widely viewed since uploaded to YouTube.
